What kind of carrier would you recommend for summer? DD was born in November so I was able to use the Moby when she was just a few weeks old (though wrapping it was a pita and I didn't use it as much as I'd have liked) but this one is due this summer, so I'm thinking something lighter would be better.
I already have an Ergo organic, without the newborn insert, if that helps.
TIA.
edit - I know I saw this posted not too long ago but damned if I can find it now.
Re: carriers/wraps - newborn this summer
If you like wrapping, I would suggest a Vatanai woven or even a Bali Baby Stretch. The Vatanai will be more supportive and long-lasting, IMO. But, if you prefer the stretchiness the Bali Baby may be better.
If you weren't too crazy about wrapping, maybe consider a mei tai? We used a Babyhawk mei tai when DS was little and it was a lot cooler than the Ergo.

I'd second the suggestion of a Vatanai (or Ellaroo) wrap if you want to wrap. A Bali Baby Stretch is good if you want something stretchy. The Bali Baby Breeze is good if you'll be out in super hot weather. I also think it's nice to have a ring sling for quick trips.
These will all be cooler by far than the Moby or the Ergo (which I also don't think works nearly as well for newborns).
