My nipples are almost completely healed. No more cracks, and only the faintest signs of thrush.

AND we've reached a nice compromise - when we would have been nursing, I snuggle him and he takes a bottle. It's not perfect, but since neither of us were emotionally ready to wean it's necessary for now.

BUT - my nipples are healed.

(and my boobs shrunk to PP size. I've been braless all day and it is fantastic. bonus: healed nipples = no chafing. I warned you this was a TMI post ;-))

Whoo! So happy for you...I remember that awful feeling of cracked nipples all too well. You are a rockstar for BFing as long as you did!

Can I just say I am super jealous you went back to PP size! I would love to drop at least the 2 additional cup sizes I gained....and then a few more.

Looks like you won't need surgery afterall! Lucky devil.

And K - I'm having at least one more (S shudders whenever I throw in that "at least") so who knows what will happen after that! The weird thing is that even though I'm the same "size" I'm not the same shape so it's still touch-and-go with my wardrobe.
