Girls breastfeeding and first PP AF

Did your supply tank when you had your first PP AF?  My OB said I'll probably make it to 6 months, but I have a feeling I'm going to get AF soon (my body is saying so) and the first time I had PP AF with Ella, it was 6 weeks PP and my supply tanked.  Is this always the case?

    My supply dips when I get AF (I've had two now), but my supply has always rebounded. I still nurse, but I'm pumping about 15-16 ounces a day at work in two sessions.

    I got my first pp AF at four months and continued to BF for another four months.  I never noticed a change in supply.

    It might have temporarily dipped, but it did not permanently tank.  Hope the same will be true of you!
    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!

    My supply dipped a little but would bounce right back.  I had my first PP AF around 4 months PP, but even with the dip, I managed to make it a year+ BFing.  GL!!

    When I was pumping my supply always did a BIG dip with AF but then would always come back.

    I got my first PP AF when DS was 11 months...he weaned himself at that time and my supply was definitely tanking anyways. If you continue to nurse your supply should rebound.
