Seriously, Snow?!!

Ugh. Am I the only one so sick of snow they could puke?! I understand a lot of people need jobs and I should be soo thankful for mine, but I really feel like venting about it. I work for a municipal government. My normal hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. Well, if they're is snow or any other reason for the street department to work, I have to come in. So basically I am on call 24/7. Today is a city dedicated holiday, so normally I would be off, but nooo. It has to start snowing!!! I have worked every holiday because of this weather, for 16 hr shifts, and I am just so sick of it. I just want a break! Thanks for listening to my ranting. Luckily I have access to the Bump here, lol.

    I'm not normally a winter complainer like everyone else around me seems to be (part of me wants them to get over it - I live in Michigan and that's just the way it is!).

    But.

    I'm done. After last week's nice mid- and upper-40s, I'm ready to get the eff out of the house and take DD for walks.

    I used to love the snow, before having this current job that is. I would love nothing more than to thow on my snow suit and jump in the snow, but unfortunately I haven't been able to because I've been working during it. Sorry again for complaining about working. Ugh.

    The roads were pretty slick by me with the frozen rain/sleet and then snow. I have never had such a close call as to sliding off the road as I did today. I agree, I am sick of this weather!
