I am off today for President's Day and I have just been working on things around the house and lesson planning. DH had to work. Although I have been trying to eat healthy this pregnancy, I have been pretty bad the last few days and today has been awful since I am home alone. Normally when I am at work I pack only healthy snacks so I don't have other temptations. Today I have eaten a huge blueberry bagel with cinnamon honey cream cheese (the best), a bowl of cereal, a glass of Carnation breakfast, an easy mac, a bowl of grapes, half a bag of Cheetos, and now I am eating chocolate chip banana bread with fresh strawberries on top. Only a pregnant woman could get away with that combination of food. I also stepped on the scale and it looks like I am at 10lbs of weight gain. I never thought I would be happy to see that number on a scale...but I was getting nervous because it seemed like I wasn't gaining anything.

Nah you're gonna be just fine.
Go into it remembering that you'll leave the hospital looking 4 months pregnant or so and you won't be so upset. Also, I give myself the rule of thumb that it took 10 months to put all that weight on, it should take that long to take it off.

I know. Thankfully I will be on maternity leave for 4 months so I will have some time before I have to wear real clothes. I am fine with gym shorts and tshirts afterward. It's once I go back to work that concerns me...I don't have the money to buy a whole new wardrobe.
