  • I think it's beautiful. I think if you combine colors accordingly it can be feminine.

  • I disagree with your MIL.  I think it looks more girly due to the damask print.  It will look lovely in a girl nursery.
  • Oh my goodness! It's beautiful!! With the yellow walls it will be amazing! Idk about the pink though.

I don't think that looks boyish at all!

  • I LOVE the pattern. It will look great with pink accents. Ooo, and you could even get a chandelier  wall decal, that's what I want to do if we find out ours is a girl.

This. Damask, no matter the color, seem very girly to me.

I was just going to say the same thing.  I love Damask, and this bedding in particular.  I think it would look beautiful with creamy yellow walls.

  • I can't even picture that being in a boy's room. Definitely girly.

  • I LOVE it for a girl's room.

But... even if it were super boy-ish... who cares? It isn't like the baby would be upset by it, anyways!  Pick what you like, because you are the one who has to sit in that room for hours and hours each day, playing, feeding, etc... not MIL :)

  • It's beautiful - definitely use it! I love the idea of pairing it w/ yellow walls & pink accents. Great find!

  • I agree- it is beautiful! Also, I have heard that putting girls in blue rooms and clothes and boys in pink can actually be beneficial in building them up to be confident in displaying both sides of their personality, feminine and masculine, weather they are male or female. Just an FYI:)

  • I think it can be feminine, but the quilt and bumper most likely won't be on there so I would think about the walls being a pale (I mean pale) pink to brighten it up to a girly room.  The yellow to me will scream boy with this pattern, but it's your nursery and you make the decisions.  Either way I think it's beautiful!

  • I definitely think it looks girly! My daughter's room was painted light blue when she was born because we lived in a rental condo and I couldn't change it.  I was bummed because it looked to boyish, but I did everything else in white, pink and green and it look awesome! So awesome that when we bought our current house, I painted her room the exact same color!  Actually it's pretty similar to the blue in your bedding.  It's beautiful bedding! Go for it!
