Who is still doing the Shred?

I fell off the wagon for a week after completing L1 and 6 days of L2 but started back today and loved it!!  I did L1 thinking L2 would be too hard after the break but it was really easy and I really feel like my endurance has changed so much.  I'm back to L2 tomorrow and  can't wait.  Who else is doing it and how's it going?

  • I was wondering about you!  I am glad to hear you are back on the horse.  I started 6 Week 6 Pack today.  It was super fast paced, think double time mountain climbers and plank jacks.  Haha.  It was good though.  The Shred definitely prepared me for it. I would have died otherwise.

    I have been seeing more and more posters saying they are starting or thinking of starting the Shred.  That is great to see.

    Is anyone interested in keeping up with the check in?  Come on girls - it helps to keep you accountable!   Can we give it a new name so it can encompass all of the Jillian Michaels dvds?  I was thinking "Jillian Michaels' Mama's" (kind of a mouthful) or something like that.  We could keep it the same though too.  Just thought I'd throw it out there.

  • Congrats on finishing the Shred and starting a new one!! It sounds intense!  I can't wait to be finished with the Shred and move onto something new.  It means I'll be in much better shape! :) 

     A check in would be great!!  It really helped me stay accountable when there were check ins everyday.

     Have you heard anything from Boston2Bermuda lately?  I hope she's doing well!

    Any creative ideas on a check in title or should we stick with Shredding?

  • I am back from Gatlinburg, and am still sick. I didn't have the stamina to shred while away, but am hoping to complete L2 tomorrow.

    I would like to have a general Jillian check-in, and I think that whoever gets to it first each day should post the thread. For example- I know, sometimes I get busy and am not able to check in. If I were in charge everyone would be left wondering where the thread is. This way, if someone gets busy there is still a thread for everyone to check in.

  • I did the shred but it hurt my knees so much I couldn't keep it up.  I did like it even though I didn't lose any weight, I do think I got stronger.

  • I just finished my 30th day of the Shred! Tomorrow I am starting the Fat burning, Metabolism DVD. I think a general Jillian Check-in is a great idea

  • Yes, please keep the "check in" going. I am not a great poster so I will leave it to someone else to make the daily check in but I vow to check in as often as I see one.

    I am on day 4 of level 1 & my legs are so sore! Sunday I hurt my shoulder trying to do the "easy" pushup, I have no strength in my arms so I am hoping to get better so I can move up to level 2 after no more then 10 days on level 1.

  • I'm still going! D6L1, I'm watching the L2 right now & thinking I will move up tomorrow. It looks alot harder but I am getting bored of L1 & worried I will quit!

I also bought the 6 weeks to a 6 pack video & did it yesterday on top of the shred video, it is much harder & faster paced but its good.

     The intro... I am Sue Ann...had my baby on Christmas Eve 2010, so I am currently 8 weeks PP.  I ordered my Shred video on Sunday and I should get it Friday!  I can't wait to start.  I already work out at the gym, but I want extra motivation to get this baby weight OFF!!!   I love reading all of your stories and can't wait to join in!
