We are actually meeting up in Wexford/Cranberry on friday. It's not the babywearers group - which meets tomorrow in Oakland, but an "attachment parenting" group from meetup.com. I can give you the info if you like - they have meetups all over but you have to meet with them first in order to gain access to their calendar and msgboards. They just want to make sure you are a real person. I'm sure you could come if you wanted (I'm not sure where you live). I asked the coordinator and she said some of the women going are wrappers and would be able to help me out.
I was going to go to the babywearing meeting, but decided to do this one instead because it's closer and both are in the same week. I do want to go to a babywearing meeting though, so perhaps the March one.
This winter has been really busy for us, but I hope to get down to pgh more often in the spring summer so maybe we can meet sometime!

Not trying to hijack this post, but does the AP group ever meet in the evenings? I attempted to join, but the only opportunities that were given to me for them to "verify" that I truly existed were during the day, which clashes with my work schedule.
They also met up at Happy Baby Company awhile back, but again, it was during the day. That would have been perfect for us as we buy our CDs and live close by.
hmm... I am not sure because I have not been "verified" yet!
When she gave me the list of available meetups I couldn't make any of them and told her (I live 1.5 hours north of the city) and she arranged a meetup in Cranberry/Wexford. It took a while - I originally contacted them in December - but she seemed flexible. So perhaps if you tell her you are only available in the evenings? Or could you do a weekend?
Weekends are definitely doable. I'll have to look into it further. Thanks!
Hey! I joined that meetup group & never got "verified" either! I think I joined in December too, but I had a prior obligation during all of the times they were getting together.
I might be able to make it this Friday. I'm supposed to have lunch with my SIL, but my neice just had an accident yesterday - broke her front teeth!
- so I'm not sure if we're going to be getting together or not. I'm going to PM you with my email address right now & they you can give me yours. I'd love to go this Friday! Off hand, do you know what time?
