Puky Pukerson update

Yep.. still puking!   And still feeling perfectly fine.   Saturday night in the new car seat.  Sunday night in the high chair after eating all of his dinner.  This morning right after his breakfast and milk.   I need to buy more laundry soap.

The nurse at the pedi office called.  She thinks it's probably just a persistent GI bug that he can't shake.   Told me to lay off the cheese and yogurt, since milk products might be upsetting his tummy.   Great, that's all he likes to eat.

Sigh!!

  • Poor Charlie and poor Mommy.  I hope that he starts feeling better very soon.  At least he is in good spirits about the vomiting.

  • Eww, I'm sorry.  At least the nurse doesn't seem too worried?

  • Apparently there's something going around.  But I'm pretty sure he caught it from our friends' kids in California.  They'd been sick right before we visited.

  • I hope he gets better soon!  Ellie has had a few stomach bugs, although in her case it always came out the other end, she has still never thrown up once in her life (thank God).  It always took her about 2 weeks to fully get over them, and our pedi told us the same thing about dairy and the BRAT diet.  We actually only went halfway with both, since she was in good spirits and never seems bothered at all by the diarrhea.  I figured as long as her stomach wasn't hurting and she stayed hydrated (we pushed tons of water) I wasn't going to kill myself coming up with new and inventive ways to serve her rice and bananas if she was asking for yogurt or cheese.  If she'd acted like she felt sick I would have, but she was always perfectly fine and the bug would run its course.I guess maybe I could have made it shorter by being more strict about the dairy but I honestly don't think that is what was bothering her stomach.

  • I agree with the pp, may as well try the BRAT diet.  Hope he stops puking soon!  But at least you've got the washer back.
