I'm pretty sure Crystal Light contains aspartame (artificial sweetener), which is a huge no no in pregnancy. If you can find some that contains actual sugar or even sucralose (which is an artificial sweetener made with sugar that diabetics use, such as Splenda) then I don't see why not.
You shouldn't drink it because of the aspartame (also a note, there is aspartame in a lot of other things such as diet pop's, coke zero, chewing gum...). I know they say stuff with Splenda is probably okay, but I can't stand the taste of any type of artificial sweetener. If you want something that is low calorie, make Kool-aid with 1/2 the amount of sugar it calls for.
I drink the mix in with my water 2x a day....Yes it contains aspartame and it isn't great for you, but the American Pregnancy Association says its fine in moderation. And it helps me to get more water drank throughout the day.

I totally agree.
ETA: I don't think any artificial sweetner is a good idea in general, although I know they are basically impossible to avoid.

"huge no no" is an overstatement. People do avoid it, but my doctor has never said it is a "huge no no".
The FDA and the APA also say it is fine in moderation.

I am always super careful NOT to eat anything with aspartame in it. When I did weight watchers last year I ate all diet and sugar free foods. I started having a ton of health issues and we to a specialist. Turns out, I am allergic to aspartame and it mimics the symptoms of many illnesses. Of course, my experience is extreme, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
I have been staying away from it because of the aspartame, but I have been drinking the Crystal Light Pure Fitness every once in a while. It is made of cane sugars and a tiny bit of truvia. I usually use only 1/2 a packet in a glass of water because the whole packet makes it too sweet for me.
Anyways, who cares. I'm not drinking it and your baby is not my baby. If you want to drink it, go ahead.
Actually, I don't drink it. But, thanks for assuming.
I just don't believe in giving out junk science websites. I'd have to investigate to see if it is more legit. A lot of sites and "studies" out there are not legit.

Agreed on this one. I started to get stomach issues and couldn't figure out what was going on. When I got pregnant in Fall '09, I quit drinking coke zero and other diet drinks... slowly whatever stomach issues I had started to go away (I thought it might be due to pregnancy). Then I found, after I lost the baby, that when I drank diet/0-cal pops my stomach would immediately get upset and I could taste the artificial sweetener. Splenda, Sweet & Low, Equal, Truvia.. it doesn't matter. If it's not just regular sugar then it doesn't go in my mouth. (though I do chew gum here and there, but it contains aspartame as well. There are only like 5 gums out there that are aspartame free).
I am also diabetic, so even a little pure sugar causes issues. I do not drink Crystal Light, but I do LOVE Minute Maid Light. I drink 95% pure water, very little milk (lots of carbs), and 4-5 cans of Minute Maid light per week. My doc says it is fine.
Re: Crystal Light?
It has aspartame in it.
I will not be drinking it, nor have I.
However...they do make Pure Fitness which is made from cane sugar and a safer bet.

This link tells you the safe artificial sweeteners and the unsafe ones during pregnancy. According to the FDA, aspartame is ok in moderation.

With all of these side effects from aspartame, why put your baby at risk? Everything you eat and drink goes to your baby.

It doesn't even have any research to back up it's claims. Just anecdotal information (case histories).
