I want to hire someone to potty train my DD.
I am horrible, I know.
She's not ready, and I know. We've tried, and she has no problem going on the potty (poop or pee), but she won't tell us when she has to go, and has no problem peeing in her pants.
*sigh*
We are waiting a little while longer. I don't want to force it if she isn't ready. I'm just tired of diapers. And I am not looking forward to training. One bit. I would rather have newborn sleepless nights back again.
That is all.
Re: Confession
I am waiting also because PT will be so much easier when he is ready than when he isn't. From everything I have heard PTing is easy when they are really ready so I am not worrying about it.
And I totally get wanting to hire someone...I am happy the preschool he will be going to two days a week helps with PTing:)
Your DD isn't even 2 yet, which is still really young. My DS is over 3 and we haven't really tried. He's just now starting to show signs. If they aren't ready, don't worry about it. It is supposed to be much easier when they are truly ready.
My confession is that I don't even mind diapers. I am just getting stressed because he needs to start preschool. That is the only thing getting me to get a move on it.
She is still really young. Don't stress over it yet. It will be easier when she is ready.
DS seemed ready when he was just over 2.5 and he was trained pretty quickly.
My confession is that right now, him being trained actually seems harder than when I had to change diapers. Anytime we're out anywhere, I'm worried about where the closest bathroom is, making sure we make it in time, and stopping what we're doing the second he says he has to go. He isn't trained enough to hold it for very long I don't think. So right now, I kind of miss diapers, lol.
