no one is napping!
just a quick vent. The babies should be exhausted and napping right now. They've had breakfast, baths, and bottles this morning, and baths usually = great naps. But they're all whining in their cribs right now. I just want to drink my coffee, clean the kitchen (well, not really, but it has to be done) and take a shower!
send nap dust or something, please.

Lots of nap dust! Saturday was a no-nap afternoon here (and no nap whatsoever for Ava), and yesterday the twins took a miniscule nap, while Ava didn't nap again. When we are home from work, they don't nap, even though the routine is exactly the same. It makes for horrible afternoons/evenings, since they are SO cranky.
ETA: Wanted to add that I SO feel you on the coffee. I've started using my travel mug at home on the weekends -- it takes me about 2 hours to drink my coffee, but at least it stays warm -- and if it gets knocked over (which happens every 5 minutes), no spills!

update: Lucas and Zoey finally gave in. Got Abby up to play, then she pooped, and now I've put her down again. We'll see if she gives in this time.
I made the coffee at 7am and I've had one cup so far. It's 10am.
Must be something in the air!! DD took a 20 minute nap on Saturday (and we had a birthday party to go to, so it wasn't such a good night over here!) and then a really short nap yesterday too, so she's exhausted!!
I ended up with a snow day today (for some reason our school didn't give us the day off) and she went to daycare. I haven't been able to get anything done around here on my days off, so I have a very long list of chores to accomplish (when I'm done drinking my coffee and enjoying much needed quiet time!)
