Has anyone taken Tamiflu while pregnant?

in 1st Trimester

My son has been confirmed with the flu; for precautionary reasons, my dr. prescribed Tamiflu to me!  I'm very nervous about taking it, but I'm getting a massive headache along with some fullness in my ears...I'm completely 50/50 on taking it! 

 ??

Has anyone ever taken it during pregnancy?

    Yeah, I posted again just to see if I would get more people who have taken it and didn't have any negative effects.  My doctor's office opens at 9; I'm calling them then!  I'm hoping that they are open today! There's so much confusing information out there and it seems to me that not many people have taken it during pregnancy.

    I dont think your dr would prescribe it if you couldnt take it. When I had the flu when I was pregnant with DD they prescribed tamaflu at the er when they knew I was pregnant..She said it was my choice to take it or not..I opted not to take it and just took tylenol for fever and waited out the rest..

    I would say No.  Since it is a Class C drug, side effects to the baby are only a reasonable risk if the risk to you outweighs birth defects.  Take Tylenol, but bag the Tamiflu--not worth the unknown!
