Tonight is the first night DS is sleeping in his crib overnight. He's been sleeping in our room in a bassinet, but he's physically getting too big for it. I would love to have him co-sleep with us, but when we all three nap together I feel so scrunched because we have a small bed. I worry about doing that overnight. And our room is too small to fit his crib so I don't really have much choice. I'm sure he'll do fine, but I'm already sad that he won't be next to me when I go to sleep tonight. I might have to camp out on his floor tonight!
Re: It's going to be a hard night
holy crap there's a weight limit? Shoot our baby is at 17 lbs, but we are working on getting the crib. Every time I think of him in another room and not right by/with me I feel devastated. I'm not sure how well this will go over.
Lol yep the limit is supposed to be 15lbs, but it's not sagging or anything that makes my think it's unsafe to have him in there. Plus he's only in a a few hours a night, then in our bed the rest of the night. Sometimes he doesn't even make it into the PNP at all!
Same here, I nurse him to sleep in our bed with music and the vaporizer going and once he is out I move him and finish the night stuff, and then after he wakes up he comes in with us, some nights I am so exhausted I pass out with him, I think DH moves him over if he thinks he can get away with it.
Yeah, it's not the weight limit that he's outgrown. He's almost as long as the thing, and when he moves his arms totally hit the sides! My little baby is growing up!
