5 Toddler Breastfeeding Myths That Drive Me Insane! (LIP)

Re: 5 Toddler Breastfeeding Myths That Drive Me Insane! (LIP)

  • I love all of these! Thanks for sharing, it's a great article and I think I will save it and email it to any family members who give me trouble.  Although no one has yet, DS is only 13 months, so I'm sure it will be coming sometime.  Sad

Hopefully this will help educate people about the benefits and realities of extended nursing.

  • Note to self: never never read the comments! I was mildly irked by the woman who misinterpreted the WHO guidelines but then I had to stop reading at the comment that compared BFing to cannibalism. Uhhhh.....whaaa?

I never read the comments, it's awful what people will say out of pure ignorance.

  • I ignored the comments.

And that standing on the head thing? Baz started that pretty much the minute he started crawling.

We weaned from boob to bottle and we NEED to wean from the bottle. OY. If i were still nursing: no guilt. But I have *such* bottle guilt.

You are lucky! My IL's have been bugging me about weaning ever since DS was a couple months old. FIL is really rude about it. Maybe I should post this article on Facebook. Lol

  • love this! thank you for posting it.. even though i'm not nursing a toddler, I hope to be next year :)
  • Why is the even a debate with some people. IT IS NOT YOUR KID. When the BFed kid is an honor student, that should change people's minds, right.
    I make cute babies.
