Sex during 2ww??

This is kind of a non-clicky poll.  Do you ladies have sex during the 2ww?  If you don't, what are your reasons not to??

    DH and I always have sex during the 2 week wait. Nothing wrong with that.

    BFP#1: 7/14/10.  EDD: 3/19/11--MMC-- D&C 9/2/10.

    We do if we want to. We don't have the most active sex life in the world though and after a few days of BD/FWP we usually need a break, ha.

    Yes though initially we're usually pooped from FWP so much.

    Usually we do, this time likely not because I will be using Crinone supplements....something about the "globules" of discharge you can experience doesn't make me feel the sexiest Wink

    We don't have any issues having sex during the 2ww. Our sex life isn't super active so sometimes we don't more than once or twice. But we don't have an issue with doing the deed during AF either. Eh, everybody is different. 

    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    My OBGYN told me not to. He said that when you orgasm, your ute contracts, which could negatively affect implantation.

    I have never heard this. We usaully have sex a few times during 2WW.

    interesting on being told not to.  Has anyone else ever heard this?  I've been trying to convince my husband it's ok to have sex then.  He thinks it's going to confuse the egg that's already met one of his sperm and it'll try to find a different one.  I told him my eggs are faithful to one and only one.  ...he then told me my eggs were "over easy".... (I love him anyway)

    DH and I usually do, but definitely not as much as during FWP. FWIW, my DH definitely wishes it was more often. :)

    We definitely continue to have sex during the 2ww! Going to the doctors this week so I may ask if there is any reason to skip sex during this time.

    We always have had sex during the 2ww. I may ask my OB the next time I talk to him about it making implantation harder, I've never heard that before.

    Um, I have never heard this either. It sounds like an old wives' tale to me...anyone else? 

    I don't know. I do trust my doctor, and I know that after procedures like IUI or IVF they don't recommend sex...so on some level it makes sense. I'm too afraid not to listen, anyway.

    Absolutely! Both of the times we got pregnant we had sex during the 2ww so I'm not convinced that it has any relationship to not getting pregnant....but that is just my opinion.

     Besides DH would be incredibly grumpy if I quit having sex with him for any length of time!

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Not when I'm cycling with the RE, they don't allow it after IVF and FET cycles.

    Of course we have sex during the 2ww. First because we're newly weds and second because my sex drive is highest during that time (probably TMI lol). My DH also gets grumpy when he doesn't have sex for a few days Stick out tongue
