When I was working we had a nanny for our girls. We found a great nanny on care.com. It does cost a small fee to be able to see their personal contact information, but we were able to interview several people before deciding on the person just right for our family.
I am not familiar with the PV or OP area for child care, but if you have neighbors, coworkers, friends in the area with kids, those are the best ways to find out what others like in your area.
