We brought Eleanor home on Friday and so far things are going remarkably well.
She's a really sleepy baby compared to H, who was awake and alert from the very first day. She eats and then she sleeps, and that's about it.
I don't want to jinx us by telling you all how well she's sleeping at night, so I'll just say this --her big brother is the one keeping us awake. ![]()
It's not adjustment issues--although he's not really interested in her he doesn't seem to be bothered, either. He is, however, sick again, and puking in his crib every night. t least once every night we have to get up and change him and the crib sheets and wash the lovey, etc. Good times!
My husband is home for another ten days, so things won't really get fun until he goes back to work. Right now we're just trying to savor the family time.
Hope you're all doing well!

Sucks about DH being gone for 10 days though!
And 100% ditto on baby #1 sleeping vs. baby #2! I seriously thought "the newborn sleepy phase" was a myth before #2 arrived!!!
Enjoy your time!!!

Aw! Congrats on your new family of 4. I LOVE the name, btw. I tried to get Dh to name Karly Eleanor but he wouldn't go for it,. It's such a beautiful name.
I hope Henry is feeling better soon
That stinks that he isn't feeling very well.
Congratulations!
