Tuality Community Hospital in Hillsboro

Has anyone delivered here, or are you going to and know someone who has? What was your experience like (or what have you heard)? Just curious... I am delivery here, and so far, I have been VERY please.  The nursing staff (the couple that I have met when I went into L&D last week for contractions) were GREAT and sooo nice! I have met all the doctors that could possibly deliver me and they're all VERY nice and seem great. 

Just like everything else tho in life... I have heard alot of negatives... Just curious about everyone else's opinion!

    I delivered there and had a great experience. The rooms are large and comfortable! The staff was amazing. And I couldn't have asked for a better experience. However, the food was lackluster and they forgot to take the clip off of my daughters belly button when we left, so her flap of skin came off after 3 days because the clip keps pulling on it. But we were only there for 1 day since it was my 2nd child, and I really wanted to get out of there, so its both my fault and theres. lol. I was upset that they didn't take any newborn pictures of my daughter though :( No one even came in and asked me if I wanted any, and I don't know if that's because she was born on a weekend and no one was there, or if they just forgot. OH...and there's no wi-fi :( which was upsetting. Overalll, I had an excellent experience!

    The place I work has had patients transfer from there b/c of problems they had missed.  It seems like they don't check/monitor as closely the things other hospitals do?

     

    It seems like a nice place to deliver assuming you have no complications.  But, b/c of fear they may miss something, I personally would not have my baby there.  Just my opinion...
