I know this post gets posted a lot, but I just can't help myself, somehow that little smiley face just makes the whole world right again. I have been having a lot of EWCM CD8. and this is the earliest (that I know of) for getting a + OPK. This is only my second cycle using them and last cycle they about drove me crazy. So this cycle I got some IC and some digis. I was slightly unsure about the IC so dipped the digi and there it was 
Like I said this is just an AW since I was so excited.
I've stopped everything except temp and OPKs with some mind relaxation this cycle so its nice to see that it may be working *sigh of relief*
Now it will take all I have to not sit and stare at my chart! too early for that

Congrats!! I also just had 2 days of smileys and it's exciting for me every time. Hump it out and I look forward to the 2WW with you.

totally forgot funny story about last night also!
So I POAS and got the +. I went upstairs and DH goes "what whats going on down there?" Me "huh?" "Well what did the stick say? Should be do it tonight or tomorrow?" (as if the stick has ALL the answers?? haha) Me "well both really" DH "Well I'm not a machine!" LOL i about died. he cracks me up with the way he thinks about TTC. just thought I would share
i have the clear blue digitals also. I got them off of amazon, they are cheaper on there i also bout the internet cheapies with the 2 lines so that when I think i get a pos. i dip the dig and see if its a smiley. here are the links to what I used

hey girlie! How are you doing? I miss you around these parts!! I hope I have your luck. I got another smiley today. Trying not to get too excited or just stare at my chart, but what else can I do. we've already had sex... so now I can just wait haha. O well. Hope you are feeling well
That's so exciting! I used OPKs for the first time last cycle, but never got a smiley face. I bought a 20 pack of CBE digitals yesterday so I'm stocked up for this cycle! Do you test once or twice a day with OPKs?
I test twice, but yesterday I tested 3 times early morning, then around 2 it was a little darker so I tested again around 7 and it was darker so I tried the dig. and got the smiley.
then this morning I tested around 10 and got another smiley. so I'll test tonight around 7 to see if my surge is still up and then prob. tomorrow morning just to see if its gone. and Hope I have a temp rise soon
do you only do dig? I do the IC and the confirm with the dig. Makes the dig last longer. good luck to you.

Thanks! defiantly KIT! I am so happy for you! DH is at work right now (he's on call today) but I'm hoping he won't be too worn out to BD again tonight, one can hope right? I may have to pull out the lingerie
are you testing more then once a day? you may be missing it.
Sometimes, but not a lot. I have a hard time limiting how much I drink and waiting 4 hours between going to the bathroom. Do those factors matter that much?

Thanks for the info! I just started using OPKs last cycle. I used a few digital ones, but got the flu and a UTI, so I stopped using them because I wasn't feeling well. Using the IC's first and confirming O with the digitals sounds like a great idea. I'll look into ordering some IC's.

I try to wait 4 hours between tests, but I don't refrain from all liquids during that time. I try to plan on testing after work because I don't have the chance to run to the restroom during work. I also drink less at night, so I test before bed as well. I have had smileys in under 4 hours with liquids, so I wouldn't stress about it too much.
Okay, thanks. I don't think I have tried as late as bedtime, so I'll try that.

mbs79: thanks for the FF friend request. are you able to change your FF name to match your Bump name? right now it shows you as User 2D2C8E and i just happened to click on your link in your siggy and it was you, if not i wouldn't have known.
go to my home page then community settings on left hand side, then in nickname just type your bump name and save
