I'm 11dp3dt and had another positive HPT this morning (first one was at 8dp3dt). I'm not doing betas until Wednesday next week but I'm starting to get cautiously optimistic here!!
OHSS is raging though and I'm so sick that I'm so afraid this is all for nothing. My stomach is all distended and I've been sick to my stomach for a couple of days, this morning I threw up pure water and it was awful. My RE had me come in for an ultrasound, I was basically sobbing in his office begging him to do something and he said he might drain me on Monday. They had a good point though that the nausea is the worst part, as the nurse said people can cope with pain way better than nausea, so I have a prescription for zofran and that seems to be taking the edge off.
I'm scared to believe that this is real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any OHSS stories here? How long did it last for you?

I agree with Hannah...so sorry you're sick, but I am so happy for your BFP! Good luck & congrats sweetie!!!!
First of all - congrats on your BFP - always keep that in mind no matter how crappy you feel (it is worth it).
I had SEVERE OHSS - I had parcacentisis ("drained") 5 times = 10 liters of fluid. Make sure you sleep sitting up or at an incline. Take it easy. Keep drinking fluids - if you don't you will feel MUCH worse. I was also on Zofran - it helped alot, but also make sure you are snacking. If you wake up in the middle of the night, eat a few crackers - it will hopefully help when you wake up a few hours later.
I can't tell you exactly how long it will last, but I think my major turning point was around 7 weeks that I lost 7lbs of fluid overnight (literally - I was in the hosptial recovering from a surgery to remove a simultaneous ectopic and they were monitoring my fluids)
Hang in there - it is worth it
!!!!! YAY !!!!!
Happy to see you here and hoping that it is for good! So sorry to hear about OHSS - no experience or advice from me on that. Glad you have the Zofran and hope it subsides soon.
