Cincinnati Babies

DS is finally, completely potty trained.

He's been "trained" for about 5 months now, but is 100% trained as of this week. No more potty chair. No more only using the toilet when he is naked. Best of all, no more accidents at daycare. Plus, he's staying dry all night now which is something DD still struggles with.

Between becoming diaper free and no longer needing a stroller, it's really hit me that I don't have a baby anymore. Crying

  • Yay, O!  That is awesome!  Can I hire you to come train my DD too?  I clearly suck at that since I loathe it so much.  I get the baby thing tonight...I get it.  They grow up in a flash.

  • Yay!!!!  I get the bittersweet part as DS was close to being ready a week ago (before the poo issues), and it was giving me baby fever.
  • Yay!  Congrats on the potty training!  It is sad once they reach milestones.

  • Yea for doing your business on the potty! We should have a diaper send off party for you and you distribute your remaining diapers to the guests as a door prize.

  • Please share the secret of getting him to leave his clothes on while he's using the potty!  Justin leaves his shirt on, but he takes everything else off -- shoes, socks, pants, etc.  He even does this in public.  We had to use the potty at Toys R Us the other day, and he kicked off his cowboy boots, pants, and socks.  If I'd have a change of clothes, I'd have used them after those things were on a public restroom floor Ick!

But I'm jealous of having both trained!
