AW: back with a new siggy

Our new boy is 6 days old today (time flies!!!) and I am starting to feel a little more human today. I feel like I need to go back and catch up on everything on this board! There were no month boards when I had DS1 and I really love this one. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to show off the new siggy pic. :) 

Also, for anyone who is past their due date and reading this: I absolutely have NO regrets waiting until 41 weeks and 4 days so that my little guy could come on his own terms. Even though I risked having a big baby and ended up having one that measured 1lb above the u/s estimate: 9 lbs 6oz, 22 inches, almost 15" head circumference. Yes, it hurt. And no, I did NOT tear horribly, in fact, only a 1-2 degree tear (and a lovely colony of rhoids :( ). 

So if there isn't a medical reason for it, I strongly encourage everyone to think twice about inducing because of "size"(especially first babies). I turned down an induction for two weeks straight even though I was walking around at 6cm dialated and any OB would have been all too eager to admit me and break my water.
