My water broke

Please keep us in your thoughts - my water broke earlier at 5:57 this evening. I'm 3 cm dilated. They have me on magnesium trying to stop labor for now until at least steriod shots for his lungs are finished. They said I won't be leaving without baby. FYI contractions suck big time!

    Praying for you!!!  My friend recently had her baby at 33 weeks, he was just under 4lbs but did GREAT!  Didn't need oxygen or anything, but had to stay in the NICU for about 2 weeks.  He went home just shy of 4 llbs and is doing amazing.  Hope that gives you some relief!  Good luck!

    Ugh.  My water broke on Thursday afternoon, and our son was born 30 hours later (last night at 6:20 pm).  He weighs 4 lbs, 2 oz, and is doing great.  He's in the NICU now, but hasn't needed much support, thankfully.  The birth wasn't exactly what I imagined, but overall it was a positive experience.

    The stats we were given: 50% Pre-PROM deliver within 24 to 48 hours, and 80% deliver within 7 days.  Good luck to you and your little one. Try to stay positive, babies at this gestation tend to have great outcomes.  Let me know if you want to chat. :)  marblesrolling@gmail.com
