I don't have one yet but need to get one since I am going back to work next week. It may help make me pump efficiently given the little time that I have at work to pump.
I do the rubberband trick or just shove the flanges in my nursing bra. BTW, how much time are you allowed to pump? Your right to pump is protected by law and if your company allows other employees paid smoke or coffee breaks, then they have to allow you to pump "on the clock." FWIW, it usually takes me 12-15 minutes start-to-finish which includes scalding my milk due to excess lipase and cleaning up. So imagine w/out needing to heat up the milk most mamas can be done in around 10 minutes or so? At my office the other staff EASILY kill 10-30 minutes a day with smoke breaks, coffee breaks, visiting with each other, etc.
i never got one so i can't recommend one but if you want a DIY one for free here is a tutorial
I did this last time with Bella. I will say that it worked but there were several times I ended up with milk all over because the flanges would slip and milk would get on my scrubs... not good! This time I plan to invest $30 in the hands free bra from Target, unless someone recommends something better. Girls I work with rave about it.
I jsut slipped the flanges into my bra (I think the top) -- I could still be hands free. Maybe I had the suction too hard...lol! They rarley slipped off.
I got my sister this one...but no word yet on how good it is as the triplets have yet to make their appearance! She had done her research though and decided this was the one for her!
I got one at Buy Buy Baby but never used it. Pumping at work, it was just easier to stick them under my shirt and not get undressed to put the hands-free top on.

this is what i have from BRU...if you get one, make sure it is the right size. I can see one too big might not work.
