Feedback on names

I know when it gets down to it, it will be up to DH & I to pick a name.  Just for fun I'd like some unbiased opinions Smile[Poll]

Re: Feedback on names

  • I'll be unbiased and straight up honest, I hate the name "Charleigh".

    But again, just my opinion.

I chose Cora. I think that one is really pretty, and not a "trendy" name.

  • Are you picking these names just to call her CJ in the future?

  • No.  I'm totally against the initials as a name.  But C is DH's initial and J is mine.

  • I think I would be okay with Charleigh... if you spelled it Charlie.  Or go with Charlotte and then call her Charlie as a nickname.

Over all, I chose Chloe Joann.  That flowed the best for me.

I picked Cora too and not really fond of Charleigh. You could do Calliegh.

  • What about Claire?  I do think any of the choices really go with joann. but than again you will not be using both names.

    I looove the name Claire.

I would have liked to use it on DD but our last name is Clarke.

    Claire Clarke? Um...no.

Ditto. Charleigh is not good. Boy's name, bad spelling, nick name etc. Cora is lovely, or Charlotte with the NN "Charlie."

  • I'm with the pp's in that I don't like Charleigh at all. I went with Charlotte because it seems like all the others have the hard "c". I'm not a fan of first and last names that start with the same sound. (Chloe Clarke sounds pretty close to Claire Clarke, BTW).

  • I'm not sure if you want to call her Charlie but just wanted to throw Charlize into the mix. Not very common but very cute! I also like Charlotte.
  • Wait a minute! I've got it! Corinne is the perfect C name! That's my vote! I'd name my girl Corinne Junior if it wasn't sooooo weird lol!
