Gift for Dad

I have heard that some women get their hubbys a gift; kinda like a gift you give him before you get married. I want to get my husband a little something before baby gets here but I need some ideas of what a good gift might be? I don't know if I can top his XMas gift; I bought him an electric guitar and the whole nine yards! (Yes, he's spoiled)

I got a cute t shirt on cafepress. He is a baseball nut so it looks like a baseball t and says Rookie Dad of the Year 2011. I was going to get his watch engraved too.

I put this up on a pp and got a lot of "baby is enough of a gift" responses, but I am still trying to come up with an idea. I think it is a very nice and thoughtful thing to do. Hopefully your post will get different and more creative responses than mine. I'll be watching.

If i get around to it I'm getting DH a nice watch. He has a nice watch that i got him for our wedding and he has been wanting a new one but since that one was his wedding gift he feels bad replacing it. So I figured I'd get him one to mark the birth of our daughter. Not so much a push gift, really, but kinda is I guess.

I am packing a small bottle of whiskey in our hospital bag for him to have after the baby is born. I also got him a mug that say's I love Daddy to go with it...

My SIL packed my brother a goodie bag for the hospital for their 2nd baby. It had his favorite snacks, magazines, cards and a book in it to help him with any down time. She was in labor for 25 hours with her first baby.

We don't really believe in giving gifts for every single occasion out there. We didn't give each other gifts for our wedding either. We saved our money for our amazing 3 week honeymoon.

I just don't get this "push gift" thing at all.
