XP: Anatomy scan update

I had my scan earlier this afternoon. The baby looks perfect, and we are still Team Green! I do have to go back at 28 weeks for another u/s because right now I have placenta previa. The placenta is only covering a little bit of my cervix, so my doctor is confident it will move by then and not be a problem. So after reading about it on google and having a minor freak-out, it seems that in 90% of cases it will move up and not be a problem. I'm going to be positive and believe that I'll fall into this category:) Anyone have any experience with this?

Congrats on the baby looking great!

I had a friend who had placenta previa in her first pregnancy. Hers did not move. Hers was also pretty severe. My MIL had the same issue with her pregnancy with my BIL. Apparently statistical oddities like to hang with me! Both had healthy babies by c-section. From what I've heard and read though, they were oddities as it does move in the vast majority of cases. If it doesn't, it usually just means that you get a c-section.

Congrats on a good u/s. I had partial previa and it moved and I had a normal vaginal delivery with DD.

Yay on the good scan! I'm still team green too. And my cousin had complete (full?) placenta previa, and it was a total non-issue, she just needed a c-section and they scheduled it early to that she wouldn't have time to go into labor (her first was early). She was also starting to dilate by one of her near-the-end appts, so they bumped it up. Mom and baby did great though, I'm sure you will too. Hopefully the placenta moves up as your ute grows though, and you have one less thing to be concerned about.
