Philadelphia Babies
New to Philly and pregnancy!
Hi,
I just moved to Philadelphia with my husband a few months ago and I am 6 weeks pregnant! Just looking to meet some nice woman and maybe get some advice (or empathy!) Also, I made an appointment with Renee Anderson, DO at Penn Hospital. Has anyone used her?

Congratulations! Penn Hosp uses a laborist system, so you won't necessarily deliver with your doctor. They always have at least one dr, one midwife, and one resident on staff for deliveries.
That said, pretty much everyone we have dealt with through the PennCare system has been great with the exception of one grumpy US tech. I'm with Dr. Borromeo and love her!

Hi Sydney!
Dr. Anderson is also my OB. We LOVE her so far! She's very willing to answer questions and no-nonsense. I actually had a medication question this week and she actually returned my call from her home, after office hours. I was pretty inpressed, I mean, she could have just decided to call me back the next day!
This is our first & I'm about 12, going on 13 weeks. DH & I live in South Philly...you??? Where did you move from?
