Remember how I said my washer broke after we got home from vacation and I had all this puky clothes to wash???
Washer repair guy came Wednesday.
The GFI outlet had tripped.

Two Christmases ago, we paid for someone to put up lights on our house for the first time. We had this huge box plugged into our only outside outlet for all the lights and on Christmas Eve, during a big snowstorm, it died or something and all the lights were out. My dad and brother in law spent that night and the next day searching the entire house for a GFI outlet that wasn't working and couldn't find one - they jerryrigged a setup with a long extension cord to plug the lights in inside the garage. We thought the outdoor plug had shorted or something and we paid for an electrician to come fix it. He found the GFI outlet inside our little garage behind a huge wall of empty boxes that my DH is keeping for some reason only he comprehends. $200 to click the little red button and my DH has to ensure the teasing of my father and brother in law because they have been telling him to breakdown those boxes forever!
