VERY small shower...

my SIL & BIL are visiting us at the end of March.  they are expecting their first and i won't be able to attend their "official" shower since i am also pg and our circumstances won't allow travel.

however, i wanted to do something special and "shower-like" for them during their visit.  the only guests will be them, dh, our 5 year old twins, and me.  

any suggestions?!?!  thanks!

    Since it is essentially only you, your husband and your kids as "guests,"  I would just get a cute cake with some baby shower-themed plates and napkins.  They can then open whatever gifts you have bought them.  OR, have your gift shipped so they don't have to worry about traveling back home with it, and still do cake and maybe balloons.

    Are they from Indiana or just visiting because you live here.  If they are from here are there a few other people you know will not be able to travel for the shower you can invite.

     

    If not, I suggest what PP said. Maybe go out to dinner and then come back to the house for cake/balloons etc.

    I would do this as well.  I think going out to dinner would be great too!
