Has anyone been to one of these? I think I may have strep throat and would just need a simple test. They would handle things like that right? Normally I would just go to Urgent Care but the waiting times are always so long.
I went to one for a sinus infection. The Nurse Practitioner was good and the wait was minimal. My experience was far superior to an Urgent Care imo since you don't have any emergencies that would get put in front of you like you might have happen at an Urgent Care.
I went to the one on Mason Montgomery if that helps.
i went to one last spring and it was great. I had a horrible sore throat and they did test for strep. I went to the one on Harrison Ave and there was NO wait at all. I hope you feel better soon.
Does anyone else in the family have strep? Sometimes a PCP will call in a script just based on you having a sore throat and having a child with strep. I hope you feel better soon!

Yup - the Little Clinic I went to near by house (on the westside) was great. No line, quick service and they checked me for strep throat. I think I paid my $20 co-pay and the total bill that came a few weeks later was like $5. Totally worth it since I went after work and didn't have to take any sick time to go earlier in the day. GL!
I've gone to one a few times for things just like this. I've always had a good experience and its MUCH faster than an Urgent Care. I wanted to add also that I believe it is their policy that if your symptoms don't subside or start to get better you can come back again within 72 hours, free of charge. I thought that was pretty good policy, not sure if it was just the location near me (Cold Spring, KY), I would imagine it is a company wide policy.
