The Humane Society took in a stray last night that a man found while he was out jogging.

It had a microchip so we called the contact.

The owner lives in Kentucky and said the dog disappeared 6 years ago!!!!!! He just called and is leaving Kentucky to drive to Indy to pick up Parker. He is soooooo happy (after getting over the initial shock of receiving our phone call).

I'm still just smiling over this! It's a great story! Big Smile

One of my friends found an animal too--similar story! It's amazing how long some of these animals survive on the streets. My brother left his dog in college with a friend over Spring break, and his ran away from his friend when they were getting out of the car. He ran back to my brother's place--crossed both College & Walnut in Bloomington!
