How did you teach your kid how to eat these things? Do they feed themselves, or do you hold it up to their mouths and squeeze it for them?
I'm really trying to get away from stuff I have to feed Jack, 'cause he's all about autonomy right now. But these little pouches seem so dang convenient. What's the deal with them?
Re: Um. So. Squeezy fruits.

Are you talking about the fruit stuff that Happy Baby sells?
I don't know what squeezy fruits areeeeeeeeee.
Ohhhh. Okay, I think that's pretty similar to the squeezable stuff Happy Baby makes.
I've given them to Lucy, she'll hold them, and like Monj said, I started squeezing...she got a hang of it and realized it's easy to squeeze and suck on her own.

This exactly. I know that babies can learn to do it themselves but Bryce usually only has them when we are out so he hasn't had much practice.
lol I know that face all too well. Usually I get it when I try to feed DD peas
I have to hold it for about half the pouch (or else she squishes too much out) and then she does it. She just sucks it like a straw.
These are the best thing that have ever happened to me/Addie. She refused to eat fruit from a spoon and the only thing she'd self feed was bananas. Now I have a fruitaholic.
