From looking at the pregnant again check-in it seems like most are planning to stop after 2 pregnancies. I feel like I'm in the minority - I'd love to TTC a third with the RE, if I can get DH on board!
I guess I would technically be going for #3 but it would be pg #2. It's not that I am against being a mommy of 3, in fact I would LOVE to pg again. I just don't think I will be able to avoid a hysterectomy long enough to feel ready for #3. If anything I will be a surrogate before I TTC my own - and even that is very doubtful (DH is no longer on board..)
Thats the plan for now, I've already been going back to start all my testing again (made me repeat HSG, and CD 3 stuff) However, we only have 2 frozen sperm samples and I am pretty sure we will use those for IUI's and end it there if it doesnt work. We'll see!

Well... kind of. Not for my own child but it still counts, right? I'm still taking meds and carrying the baby.
You are amazing. :-) there are a LOT of things that have to work out first....but assuming we conceive #2 in a reasonable amount of time, and assuming we don't get pregnant with twins, and assuming we adjust to child #2 well... The plan is for us to have at least 3 kids. That was always our thinking, even before IF. But clearly, we are wise enough to know anything can happen, so we will just take it one cycle and one precious little baby at a time.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
After Gwen is walking and out of diapers, we are thinking we will want 2u2 again. Gwen was unassisted, but I am a PCOSer. Not cured! We will go back to the RE if need be, which in all liklihood will be! So, yes we will go back. I need to finish my degree (RN) which is at least 2.5 years from now before we will talk about it.
I want a 4th but we can't do IVF again. Because of our beliefs we would need to use any embryos that we created and I don't think we would want more than one more kiddo. I think there is a good chance that we will adopt but it won't be for another couple of years. On a good day DH agrees and starts talking about how we could add onto the house. On a bad day he just says we don't have any more room. We have had a rough time financially over the last two years so in order to consider it things would have to improve quite a bit between now and then.

IN a perfect world we will. We will only do 1 more Fresh IVF. It is our hope that I would get pregnant from the fresh and then ahve some frosties left over to TTC for #3. It is my hope that this can happen but only time will tell.
I'm pregnant with what I'm hoping will be our third, live baby and we did IUI. We also have a frozen embryo so we'll be doing a FET maybe a year after this baby is born. I can't away from the RE!
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
Yep already did....pg with #3. All three of my babies were conceived on the same day ~ We have one more frozen and will probably go back to transfer that one at some later date.

We are. We have frozen blasts from our IVF that gave us DD, so we are going to do an FET this next month. I secretly would LOVE to do more fresh IVFs for a third child if the FET doesn't work, but DH is NOT on board. So yes, we are going to try for #3 with the RE and our frozens, but if the frozens don't stick, we are done.
Re: Has/will anyone TTC no. 3+ with the RE?
