Happy Birthday to my Outside baby! PIP
Josue Aiden was born on Friday 2/11 at 6:50 am.
He weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and was 20.5 in long.
I was induced Thursday morning at 8am. Contracted regularly all morning...all afternoon...all night. I wasn't progressing much. Around midnight the Dr. came and checked me and we discovered that our man was trying to meet the world hand and arm first. They upped my Pitocin and said that he may pull it back as there is more space for him to come through. Middle of the night another doc in his office came and checked me and tried to push the baby's arm back up because it hadn't moved. He got it back. Around 5:30am Friday I was checked again but now my doctor could feel all the way up to Aiden's elbow...part of the reason I wasn't progressing because he couldn't move down like he should've because of his arm. So a c-section was scheduled and I was in the OR by 6:30.
I have quite a stubborn little boy I guess because I was originally a c/s scheduled for Jan 28 because he was breech.
Either way, he is here finally and completely healthy. He is so perfect to me and I love him more every day.
My husband left Sunday to go back to Japan, which was tough. It was hard to watch him say goodbye.
I just have to say seeing how dad's react to the birth of their child and how they take care of them is wonderful. I've never seen my hubby that way. I always knew he would do a good job as a dad but now I realllly know it.

...Life hasn't turned out the way I had planned for it to, it's better.
