Lower Abdomen Pain when walking

Just curious if anyone else is or has experienced lower abdomen pain when walking.  I don't remember getting this when I was pregnant with DD and this time I only have to walk 100 meters or so and it starts to hurt and I need to sit down.

Needless to say I'm not doing any exercise because of this and will be asking the Midwife next week at my appointment.

  • I had to get a maternity support belt.  I really recommend it.  I wear it mostly when I exercise.  I recently started wearing it more to add some support and hopefully ease some of the pubic pain I've been experiencing.

  • I walk about three miles a day and tonight I had a stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen. I walked through it but it was painful. I has happened before but it is always on the right side.  I think that it is just RLP. A belt probably would help.

  • Yes! I'm 23 weeks going on 24 ... and I started feeling this a few days ago! I went to the gym and was on the precor machine ... about 20 minutes in a got a heavy, achy pain in my lower abdomen. I stopped and took it easy.

I've had it too and this is what I've been told too. Another lovely tidbit people don't tell you about child bearing.  Our muscles and ligaments are looser this time around so the baby is lower in our bellys.  I have felt it for weeks.  My girlfriend who just had her third baby said that with her last kiddo she felt like his head was between her knees the entire pregnancy!
