What made me think that was a good idea?

So today, at 40 weeks pregnant, I decided it would be a good idea to go to a dance concert. Sure, it was free and we were supporting one of DH's student employees, but why did I seriously think an hour and half in those folding chairs was going to be ok? I sat there, squished between DH and one of his other students hoping and praying that:

1. These pains were not labor pains because I didn't want to have to interrupt the show.

2. I would not pee my pants, I figured if I did I could pass it off as my water breaking.

3. There would be an intermission (there wasn't).

4. That my water would not break (LO was hitting the cervix pretty hard so I was concerned).

Thank god none of these happened, but let me tell you I spent the entire show in pure emotional and physical turmoil. What made me think that was a good idea?
