Zantac- dosage?

those of you that have LO's on Zantac, how often and what dosage do you give. We started using it last night and she did pretty well and this morning was ok too. RX said twice a day so that means she wouldn't get it until 6 tonight and the last feeding was rough..

Also, anyone have any luck with gripe water?

Ours is 1ml 2x a day. I honestly don't give them 12 hours apart. I usually give it anywhere between 6 and 9am (depending on when she wakes up and how she's acting) and then again between 2 and 5pm. That has worked well for us and gets us through the night. I go based off how she's acting, if she's acting like she's in pain during/after a feeding then I give it to her before her next feeding, but if she seems fine I wait closer to the 12 hour mark.

.5ml 2x/day but we need an increase. DS's ped said not to space 12 hours apart unless he took equal feedings after each. We were doing 8am and 8pm, but after his 8am dose he'd eat, say, 6 times during the day but in the pm he'd only eat 3 times between doses. So one was wearing off too soon because of the # of feedinds. So now we do 8am and 3 or 4pm.

We do .5ml 3x/day. We give it when she gets up (breakfast), around midday (lunch), and early evening (supper). That seems to work for us.

wow! I feel like my little bean is on a lot now after reaading these posts. Her rx is 1.33ml twice a day. It looked like a lot to me. she is only 6weeks old and 9lbs!
