Hi,
My boobs are getting out of control. I am spilling out of my 36DD bra and I have started looking for new bras, but I don't want to break the bank. I also want a bra that I know will give me the support I need. Please give me your recommendations!
Also, how big were your boobs by the end of your pregnancy? How big were they when your milk came in?
TIA

I bought three of this bra a while back. Right now, they are buy two get one free. The lady at Macy's told me it is one of their most popular bras for pregnant women because of the stretch in the cup. They are very comfortable.

My Motherhood doesn't carry anything bigger than a DD.. annoying!
I've ordered my last two bras from figleaves.com and I LOVE them. They're British (I think?) so the sizing is a little different, but they're cute, comfy and they hold my chichis like glorious bliss.
this...let me know which bra you get plz!
Geez a loo! 34H pre-pg? And I can't stand my D cups. I've already told DH that as soon as we're done having kids I'm getting them reduced. I can't imagine being an H.

I started pregnancy as a 38DD and now I am wearing 40F. I am in love with bravado nursing bras, the original one goes up to a G, and each bra can fit a few cup sizes so it can last. Plus they are only $35 bucks, comfy and DH loves my boobs in them!
I got fitted by a local lactation consultant, but I am sure mother hood can fit you too. HTH
Bra shopping is on the agenda for Saturday, so thanks for the tips! I started out a 34D/DD and am now spilling out of the cups and feeling restricted in the band. I'm not optomistic on my chances of finding a 36E or F, but I'm hoping for the best.
I'm hoping to also find a good sports bra, but usually if I can find one that is big enough for the cups, the band is too loose and the girls fall out the bottom. Any recommendations on where to find a more fitted one?
I am also planning a reduction ASAP after done BFing. I wanted to do it a year or so ago, but figured I'd better leave them be until they were done being "useful".
Started out at 38E, now I'm at 42F. Motherhood only carried up to 40F so I got a bra back extender ($1.50 at Walmart in craft/sewing section, about $2.50 at Joanns crafts in notions section) and converted the Motherhood wireless bra that I got for $20 into something that fits perfectly and has room to grow around since that seems to be how I've been growing. Though they measured me at 42E, the F makes it so my nips aren't constantly being smooshed by the cups and it feels much better.
Motherhood has a lot of styles, and I really appreciate that they have wireless bras for bigger breasts. But they only have the one style of the wireless which I really need because the wire was causing too much irritation on my ribs (pain & numbness, mostly). Plus when you have to get something bigger, you didn't break the bank on the bra you've been wearing. I don't mind buying something bigger when I need it because I didn't put down $40-$60 on something I only wore for a month or two.
I went to the local Motherhood maternity here and they only had DD in a size 36 band, so I tried the 38DD on, but that was way to big in the band width! Ahh.. and then I went o Victoria's Secret to see if they had anything and they do have a 36DDD, but I was hoping not to spend $50 on a bra. I am going to check out the websites you ladies posted! Thank you!
Interesting thread! I was a DD before pregnancy and now I'm between a G and H, depending on the bra. :-P I hope this is the biggest they get. I outgrew Motherhood's sizes and have gotten my last few bras from Just My Size online. You can't try them on, but I did measure myself before ordering and returned/exchanged a couple. I'm unemployed and SAH, so I mostly wear wire-less, but supportive leisure type bras with front closure (albeit like 5-8 hooks). More like a vest! :-) When I go out, I wear my most supportive leisure bra or one of the underwires I have that just barely fit.
I'm going to need nursing bras, but have been advised not to buy them until my milk comes in, in case I get bigger. I'm keeping this thread for the store ideas.
