Hello ladies! Let me put down the Tostitos and wipe the salt and grease off my hands to post the weigh in.

So how was your week?

QOTW: What behaviors/habits do you have that work against your weight loss efforts? Do you have a plan for changing those habits/behaviors?

  • Up .8 this week. Between eating out a bunch and Valentines Day I am not surprised.

    QOTW: I fail to plan sometimes and I find myself starving and then I end up overeating. Which is precisely what happened at lunch today. I didn't have breakfast before my meeting, then went straight to the zoo. So a few hours later I was ravenous. I need to plan better. On the weekends I also need to plan my whole day of meals ahead better because that is when DH and I find ourselves at dinnertime with no plan and everyone's hungry. That's how pizza and burgers find their way into the house.

  • I was down a measly .4 this week, but it was expected. 

    I'd agree with not planning my day, especially bringing healthy snack options with me when we are on the go. I try to at least toss a granola bar or a banana in my purse before we roll out so I have something, but it doesn't always happen. Also, I let myself get talked into going out to lunch at work too much.

  • Down 3 lbs!  I was so excited that I was able to lose the weight I've packed on the past few weeks.  Going out to eat is my downfall.  We've really been focusing on eating more frugally so we've naturally cut back on restaurant food.  It's a work in progress though.

  • I was even steven this week.  Not surprising, since I ate every single one of my points last week including my earned activity points.  I'm back on the WW train though.  I've had a great week so far- I haven't used any flex points and have earned activity points that I haven't used.  I weighed myself this morning and was down 0.6 from Monday.  However, we're having DD's birthday party this weekend so I think I will be using some of my flex points.

    I do the same thing if I don't plan my day.  If I go to lunch, I almost always cave and get a coke instead of drinking unsweetened iced tea or water.

  • I was down another 2 lbs for my weigh in on Sunday...woot!!

    QOTW:  Cravings kill me.  I was having a huge one that I had fought and fought until I ate half a medium pepperoni pizza.  I know that I'll never be able to completely get over it but I need to do it in moderation.  

  • Hi! Can I join the party again? :)I started the hCG diet last week and I'm loving it. I know it's somewhat controversial, but I feel fantastic and have lost 10.2 pounds since last Monday! Woo hoo!As far as behaviors, I'm a snacker and that's definitely had to stop with this plan. I love to eat snacks in the evening and so I just save one of my fruits for then.

  • I'm down 0.6 this week.  Not great, but I'll take it.  I'm all hungry all the flippin' time with this running business, and in the next couple of weeks we're bumping up the milage, so I am really going to be feeling it.  My body is changing shape (in a good way), even though I'm experiencing little to no weight loss.

    QOTW: I get cravings like a pregnant person.  A certain food will pop in my head and I've GOT to have it.  My "plan" if you can call it that is to eat well most of the time so when I get these cravings it won't derail the train.

  • Have been MIA recently...down a total of 24lbs so far. This last week or so people havent started to comment- which is awesome.

  • Can I join you ladies? I've been tracking my food for the last couple of days so I can see where my downfalls are and try to figure out what to do about it.  I am going to go to the grocery this weekend and buy some healthy snacks.  I am a snacker so I have a feeling that is going to be the hardest part for me.  That, and chocolate.  I heart chocolate.

  • Ugh... up again this week.  I didn't go to the gym much to work out, but did work out other ways.  Today I went to the gym & burned 800+ cal so I am starting out well this week.  I have a feeling AF may be on her way too.  Last week I couldn't keep out of my Reeces mini stash....

    QOTW:  I sit & watch too much TV & sometimes snack on too much chocolate... Embarrassed I have no plan, except that when the weather is nicer I find it easier to do other things....  If I could just find a job, that would help with the TV stuff...... Sad

  • I stayed the same this week... I think the lovely 1st tri bloat has started or else I would have been down again.
    Still so nauseated all day so that is seriously why I've been doing so well as far as eating healthy and staying on track.. Healthy foods seem to sound good (salads, fruit, etc) which I really hope continues..
    My biggest downfall is eating in front of the tv. Its mindless and I'm not even hungry. DH and I have started watching shows/movies in bed so we won't be tempted to snack.

    Planters makes cocoa almonds... Omg so amazing!! Enough to satisfy both chocolate & crunch.. And healthy to boot. 1/4 cup is a surprisingly decent serving size. Check it out !

  • I did not weigh in.  I have no interest this week.  After all the illness that I have had this winter, I am not so proudly sporting the flu.  ICK!  I am so over winter. 

    Illness is the big motivation killer for me right now.  I want to work out.  I want to run.  I need to be able to breathe to do that.  Ugh!  The plus side is I have no interest at all in food this week....Maybe, just maybe I lose a few pounds because of that?  One can hope, right? 

    I really want to be able to post a normal weight check in next week.  Fingers and toes crossed.  Cheering on everyone here.  We can and will beat the winter fluff!

  • I stayed pretty much the same or gained a lb. We have been eating out and stress eating so it could have been a lot worse. I need to get back into the habit of going to the gym.
  • no change for me this week. my bad habits are craving sugar, not planning, and finding excuses not to work out.
