I drink about half of a travel mug of coffee Mon-Fri and about 2 cups on Sat-Sun. Before I was pg I drank 3-6 cups a day so for me that is seriously cutting back. I also only drink water besides my morning coffee so I don't feel bad at all for it. My dr says it's fine and LO and me are healthy so I will continue drinking it.
I order a large (decaf), but I have never been one to drink coffee for the caffeine. I don't seem to notice an effect on me regardless of how much I drink.
I'm about to walk to Starbucks and get a large latte. Granted I'll order decaf because I don't need the cafinne, but my doc said two cups a day (of caffeinated) is fine.
I got one of those single cup Keurig makers so I'm limited to 10 ounces when I make a cup.
I used to drink an entire pot a day... so for me that was giving up a lot!
I stay away from other caffeinated drinks for the rest of the day and nothing carbonated. OMG the gas pains are an easy deterrent for making soda totally unpalatable.
If I don't get my 10 ounce cup in the morning, I get a headache by the afternoon
usually i'll have a cup of regular and a cup of decaf if just drinking at home. on the "large" setting on my keurig, think it's 10oz or so. if i go out for coffee i usually get a grande iced latte which i believe is 16oz (but lots of ice). drink your coffee, no need to deprive yourself! i couldn't drink all thru first tri because it made me want to puke, but i missed it so much!
Every couple weeks I have a double shot espresso, the rest of the time a single (a couple times a week). A double is 150 mg of caffeine and my doc said I can have 200-300mg caffeine per day. I don't have anywhere near that on most days, but if I want an espresso here and there I will drink it without any remorse.
Unfortunately coffee sounds like the devil right now and I just can't stomach it so I have not had any in 3 weeks :-(.

I am not a coffee person, but prior to this pregnancy I was a major Starbucks chai tea latte addict. I am talking 4-5 a week. It was quite the expensive habit. I thought it would be hard to kick, but once I got pregnant (and my Hyperemesis kicked in) it actually made me nauseous to think about it.
Now that I am starting to feel better I have been having one a week when I drop DS off at school on Wednesdays. I get a Grande and they have 100 mg of caffeine, but if I am in the mood for one and worried about the caffeine I ask for 2-3 pumps instead of 4.
I try to avoid caffeine altogether if I can.

I'm not an every day coffee-drinker, but when I order, I usually get a small decaf or a small latte (frequently go decaf, but not every time). I'm not a caffeine junkie at all, so I usually get decaf b/c I rarely notice the difference. I also will drink the occasional soda or iced tea. Oh, how I've loved iced tea lately I always drink decaf tea at home but will order one sometimes at a restaurant. Then, I keep myself at one medium.

i drink coffee because I love the taste of a cup of coffee with a flavored creamer in it. It's just delicious to me. That or a vanilla latte and I'll beg for it. The caffiene has no effect on me but if I make it at home the taste of decaf is a little different so I make regular and only drink a cup or two. If I am out and pick up a latte I'll get a decaf.
