Had a valentines baby :)

I know I barely post but had to share!

Jacob was born Feb 14th @ 535pm-- and weighed in at a whopping 8lbs, 12oz and was 21 3/4 inches long!

I ended up calling the OB's office in the AM for just having some more pressure and some bloody show. I had been 4cm/80% for a while, and just wanted to get checked out. They told me to go to L&D to get checked out. So we packed up the car and off we went!

Totally expected them to send me home, but I was 5cm so they decided to admit me. I was scheduled for an induction for today actually! So I got admitted and by the time they broke my water I was 6cm and decently contracting. I did end up getting an epidural, but hey, I made it to 6cm on my own

Glad I got one though b/c I did end up with a small tear, and I'm sure that would not have been pleasant to feel!

We've been home since Tues PM around 10pm and we're adjusting, slowly but surely! BF'ing is the biggest challenge-- its so painful to me ( like my nipples are in a vice!) but its getting better. The initial latch is enough to make me want to cry and scream though.

I do wonder if Wilma had her baby though Thats been a blast following those threads... lol!

The latch on will get better, I promise! It'll take about a week to go away though, but it will go away. Congrats on your V-day baby! (You stole Wilma's predicted time of 5:30something though, hahahahah)
