Oh my gosh...exorcism spit up.

DS just spewed bm about 2 feet coming from his nose and mouth and aimed it perfectly at me. It totally scared the crap out of me! I didn't care about my clothes being soak but the fact that he start choking afterward and I have never seen a baby spew so hard it comes out of their nose!

Holy cow...

    That happened to our LO 3 days ago and it went up and back covering his entire face including his eyes that were open it was terrible and he was very confused to say the least. :( It can be scary, make sure you always have a bulb syringe in every room!

    That happened to me the other night.  LO spewed everywhere...its a mess to clean up in the middle of the night.  I found it dried in my hair the next morning.  Hey, it keeps us on our toes when we are half asleep!

    Sounds horrible, but you get used to it.  Talk to your pediatrician if it keeps happening.  I get it about once a day, but we're taking a wait and see approach at this point.

    We've had it twice.  It's scary, that's for sure.  But seems to be no big deal since it is breastmilk, not upsetting to the baby, and not happening after every feeding.

    Wow. DS was sitting up since we just fed him so I am sure if he was reclining back a little more then it would have been the same scenario. At least he was confused and not scared though!
