1. Where were you born? The homeland, aka India.
2. If it wasn't Washington, when and how did you end up here? I showed up in a basket in the winter of '82 after my birth parents, Mother Theresa and Ghandi, gave me up.

2. If it wasn't Washington, when and how did you end up here? I moved here in Oct '02. I knew I wanted to leave IL and I made a list of the possibilities. I love rainy, chilly weather, so that was a must. I also love the mountains and the water here. I ruled out England (too far), Maine (a little too much winter), and Portland (too much sun) and Seattle was the winner. That's the real story. I had no friends, family or job here, but I knew one coworker friend (with whom I did not remain friends).
3. What high school did you graduate from, and when? Uh, it was an all-girls Catholic HS in the Chicago suburbs... 1989. A long time ago.

6. What was an activity you did in high school? Choir (unless you're talking about being drunk every weekend of Jr year). :-)
7. What college did you go to, and when did you graduate? I went to a 4-yr college for 1 week (missed my b/f). Then a junior college for 2 years. Then I finished at a more local college for 3 years. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in 1994. A long time ago.

8. What was an activity you did in college? Spent all possible time with my boyfriend. I wasn't involved in anything school-related, aside from taking classes. ETA: I also worked part-time and then full-time.

10. What is a city/state you think you'd enjoy living in? No plans to move out of state. If I really had to, I guess maybe something close like OR or ID.
ETA: I just reread my answers and realized you'd think all I did was party or sleep over at my boyfriend's house. :-) You'd never know I was on the honor roll pretty much every semester of HS and college, and involved in stuff like Drama Club in HS.

After the accident I got a job and then became a young mom so finishing college wasn't at the top of the to do list - surviving day to day was. I did complete 2 years there.

8. What was an activity you did in college? I always lived off campus and by the time I started at the UW I was already married and working 20 hours a week. So there really wasn't a lot of free time. My sister (who was not a student at the UW) went to the frat parties for me though. So between us we were the complete UW student, LOL!
9. What is a city/neighborhood in Washington you'd love to live in? I really love where I'm at now in Maple Valley. I feel like I'm in a rural area but the grocery store is 5 minutes away. I just wish my commute to Seattle wasn't quite so long.
