The hair pulling is driving me crazy!

I'm so over it. I know it is just natural for DD to do it, but seriously, it is driving me nuts. I am converting to a full time pony tail. The only time I like my hair pulled is if DH is doing it ;)

    seriously!!  its crazy!  what is their fascination with hair!?!  I feel like I'm causing an obsession or something...he's FASCINATED when I blow dry my hair..he just stares at it the entire time.  and the constant pulling/grabbing while nursing...sometimes he just likes to "pet" it too.  adorable  Stick out tongue

    Jordana never was big on the hair pulling but the boys are/were! Preston still till this day is always messing with my hair.

    LOL yeah, I keep forgetting to take it down. I tried last week but the bump wouldn't let me change my sig, so it still reigns on!

    Some of the time I don't mind it, when she is just petting it, but lately she is grabbing it then yanking it really hard! And she will grab on when I try to set her down.

    i know. my son pulls so hard he could seriously rip out a whole chunk of hair if i weren't vigilant about the ponytail thing. it drives me insane.

    I was so glad when we got past hair pulling. Honestly the worst for me was 6-9 months. Once he started crawling he wasn't on my lap as much, hence less hair pulling. Once he started walking it was over all together. Now he likes to "style" my hair. (Meaning he runs his fingers through it like he is combing it and then shakes it around creating a very unique "style". I was also afraid to get my hair cut last spring since he was still pulling so much. This spring, I am chopping it off to a shorter do. I am excited about that!

    Ugh its the worst. i have resorted to a full tine pony tail. It hurts !

    OMG, ditto ditto ditto! Not sure if you saw my post about this a week or so ago but DD is getting out of control. She has to pull hair to fall asleep and now won't sleep for anyone but me since I'm the only one with long hair. If I try to stop her she will scream, cry, flail around and refuse to fall asleep!

    Ponytails don't work either, she just grabs the fine hair on my neck which hurts even worse. I am hoping she grows out of this soon but since DH still twists and pulls his (and mine) hair I am fearful it's permanant.

    Oh yeah... she LOVES to yank hair. I can be nursing her and she'll be reaching up grabbing at my hair.

     

    Although even worse is she grabs my arm, digs her nails in and twists. OUCH. She yanks the hell out of DH's chest hair, too.
