7 days old and already gaining

Had to share...We went into the ped for a quick circ/belly button/weight check and he not only gained back his lost weight, but he gained some too.  Riley was born 7lb 9oz, went down to 7lb 4oz in hospital, today was in at 7lb 15oz.  Apparently he's a nursing hound like DS2 was cause he did the same thing. 

They don't even want to see him at 2 wks since he has already reached the milestone of gaining back the lost weight by then.  I don't mind since I already spend so much time at our family phys/ped with the boys that all the receptionists and nurses know my name.

    Wonderful!  We had our 2 week appt today and LO has gained 1 lb since her last pedi appt 9 days ago.  She was 6 lb 6oz at birth and is now 7lb 3 oz!!  We are pumped!

    It's fun, isn't it?  Feels like we're doing something right.  At her 2 week yesterday DD was up to 8 lbs. from 7 lbs. 2 oz. at birth.
