I am looking at the Diamond color on Albeebaby....$399.99 for the stroller and the 2nd seat.
If you have this, would you recommend it for this situation? I watch 2 LO's during the week. They are both about 4 mos old right now. I just snagged the Ergo from babysteal, so I can wear 1 kiddo and push 2. My DS is 19 mos so I still want a stroller for him. My thinking is to use the Select as a single on weekends and as a double during the week or when/if we ever have #2.
My outings with the 3 will be walks, zoo, museum of play, parks, library. I also looked at the City Mini and the Valco with the jump seat.....the latter being my first choice but way too $$$$$!
Will the BJCS work for what I need it for? Any other reccs?
Re: Baby Jogger City Select Double...who has it?
I think so - SIL has the City Select (she got it when she had baby 2 and her son was 2). She loves it.
My assessment - as with most tandems, the kid in the backseat sort of gets screwed on the view and it's on the heavier side. I think my Bumbleride is far easier to push (but it's SBS), might be a consideration of you are wearing one as well.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
I love mine. We've been using it as a single but now that DD is here, we will start using it as a double. I think it would be perfect for your situation since it offers so many options.
I dont know that I would recommend the diamond color though, I think I've heard people say that it gets dirty too quickly. We have it in black.
