I'm trying to figure out if DD is eating a good amount of food or not, so bear with me.
Yesterday, between 7 am and 7 pm she ate 16 oz. Last night, she ate 4 oz at 3:30. At 7:30 this morning, she ate another 3.5 oz. Do I include this latest bottle in the total oz count, or is it today's milk, or is it both?
Just wondering if she had just 20 or almost 24. I haven't been counting that morning bottle as part of the 24 hours but using it to start over. The problem is that without it she's averaging 18-20 oz a day, which seems pretty low. Just hoping that I'm counting wrong.

Re: I have a dumb formula feeding question.
I don't think it matters when you start the clock, just start it at the same time every day and then you can figure out how much she eats in a 24 hour period. For me it's easiest to do midnight to midnight, but DD never eats from 7:30 pm until 7 am or so (although lately she's been getting up at 5:30).
I think babies all range in what they eat. DD has been pretty consistently eating 32 oz. of BM since before 3 months (all bottle fed pumped milk). We just started introducing formula, and she's eating a little less formula. We settled on 32 oz because that's what seems to keep her full and sleeping through the night. Less should be fine if your DD is otherwise gaining.
