Question about introducing solids.

I'm thinking about starting rice cereal.  Should I use a spoon or a turkey baster?

    it's best to use a ketchup squirt bottle.  I hope you have good aim, or it can get messy.

    Hmmmm.  There is still some ketchup in the bottle.  Do you think it would be okay if I started her on ketchup instead of cereal?

    Hmmmm.  There is still some ketchup in the bottle.  Do you think it would be okay if I started her on ketchup instead of cereal? 

    Rice cereal is pretty bland, she'll probably eat more (aka sleep longer) with ketchup flavoring in there.
